Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Wyncote is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, keep the store stocked, and ensure a clean, safe environment.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. This is a part-time position with opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and trash, and ensure neat presentation.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
