Job summary

Family Dollar in Charleston, SC seeks a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and orderly.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment for customers and teammates. Part-time position with opportunities to grow within the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
