Job summary

Family Dollar in Charleston, SC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience, assist customers, and handle transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities include stocking, unloading deliveries, maintaining store cleanliness, protecting cash, and upholding safety and respectful interactions with customers and teammates. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma and prior customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage transactions at the cash register and maintain cash security.
• Keep the store stocked, recover merchandise, and unload shipments.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Follow productivity standards and perform other duties as assigned.
