Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Sugar Land seeks a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience, assist customers with questions, and handle transactions at the register.

You will keep the store clean, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain safety and courtesy while supporting leaders and teammates. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is nice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and stocking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Keep the store clean, restrooms stocked, and areas neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
