Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Knightdale, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You’ll assist customers, process transactions at the register, and keep the store clean, stocked, and safe.

This role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods, with opportunities for growth in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and waste management.
• Other duties as assigned.
