Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC. is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and help unload merchandise at the Dunbar, WV store.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and maintaining clean, organized store conditions while interacting professionally with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
