Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Glenville, WV is seeking a part-time store associate to assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, and help maintain a positive, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include stocking and replenishing merchandise, unloading trucks, keeping the store clean, and performing other duties as assigned while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operating documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
