Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Rhode Island LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Pawtucket to deliver a welcoming shopping experience and assist guests with questions and purchases. You’ll handle sales at the register, keep shelves stocked, maintain store cleanliness, follow store procedures, and contribute to a respectful environment for customers and teammates in a part-time role.

Training is provided and opportunities for growth exist as you build strong customer relationships and uphold

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/customer service experience in related settings preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Ensure store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
