Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, keep the store stocked, and maintain a safe, friendly environment.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and prior retail or service experience. You’ll handle merchandise receiving, stock replenishment, and keep areas neat, with emphasis on customer relations and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties described.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, and areas neat.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
