Job summary

Family Dollar in Inglis, Florida is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and welcoming.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred in retail or similar settings.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform extensive walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Keep areas clean, including bathrooms; sweep and mop floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
