Job summary

Dollar Tree in Fort Madison, IA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain store appearance and safety.

Responsibilities include stocking, unloading merchandise, and providing friendly, professional service while following instructions and protecting company assets. Part-time roles are available and on-site work only.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
