Job summary

Dollar Tree in Farmersville, CA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help shoppers and deliver a great store experience. You will assist customers, answer questions, and manage transactions at the register.

You will maintain stock, unload merchandise, replenish shelves, and ensure cleanliness and safety throughout the store while providing friendly, professional service to customers and teammates. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail or customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and teammates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
