Job summary

Dollar Tree in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and maintain store cleanliness while stocking and organizing merchandise.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with physical capability to lift 30–50 lbs. Part-time shifts are available at this location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register and ensure cash security.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and teammates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
