Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate in Taylor, MI to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, maintain store cleanliness, stock merchandise, and support unloading of shipments.

The role requires strong customer service, good communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. The team focuses on a safe, respectful environment and efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. with frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, and areas neat and presentable.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
