Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience at our Aliquippa store. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, stock and unload merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail customer service experience. You’ll participate in a team environment with friendly interactions and be expected to lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
