Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Bell Gardens, CA to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain store cleanliness, restock merchandise, and support unloading trucks while ensuring a friendly, professional atmosphere.

Key duties include operating the cash register, protecting cash/assets, and maintaining store presentation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent mobility tasks.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
Other duties as assigned.
