Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience at our Smyrna, GA store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain store appearance and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
