Job summary

Family Dollar in Morrow, GA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, answer questions, and process transactions at the register, delivering a friendly shopping experience. You will assist with stocking, receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, maintaining store cleanliness, and upholding safety and security standards while working as part of a team.

Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are expected as you help customers and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Must be able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash
• Other duties as assigned
