Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Delmont, PA to help deliver a great shopping experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking, receiving merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Part-time hours and a team-oriented environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
