Job summary

Dollar Tree in Homestead, Pennsylvania is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
