Job summary

K&G Petroleum in Boulder, CO is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Operations team. This hourly, non-exempt position supports store operations, handles transactions, and delivers friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with the Store Manager, learn POS procedures, assist with opening/closing duties, and help maintain inventory. A 90-day probationary period may lead to merit-based pay increases and potential growth to lead cashier or supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Experience working retail sales and customer service (preferred).
• Ability to work with tools/equipment and perform duties as described above.
• Ability to communicate in English and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary, courteous customer service and handle complaints quickly and tactfully.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to drive sales while maintaining customer rapport.
• Process all sales on cash register and handle cash and other forms of payment; follow cash handling procedures.
• Perform multi-function operation of POS and other equipment; maintain site cleanliness and inventory.
• Notify management of any dishonesty and follow company policy for shoplifting.
• Comply with all company policies and relevant regulations.
• Complete/attend all required orientations, trainings, and meetings.
