Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to support courtesy and customer service tasks in our Michigan store. You will gain exposure to a variety of retail duties, assisting store operations and interacting with customers to deliver above-and-beyond service.

The role offers exposure to multiple departments, opportunities for growth, and a fast-paced retail environment in a large Midwest retailer with a strong community focus.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bending and twisting while handling product.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts between outside and inside the store.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
