Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, including services provided by our store, product handling and customer service. Team Members enjoy engaging with people and exemplifying above-and-beyond service.

You will tackle tasks across carts, parking lot maintenance, snow removal, returns and clean-up while working with multiple store departments. This role offers growth opportunities within our retail environment.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent listening and communication abilities.
• Able to lift and move items, and operate basic store equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants move shopping carts from outside the store back into the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside-store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Assist service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health & Beauty, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
