Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across our store operations. You will interact with customers, support service desks, handle carts, and assist in maintaining clean, organized spaces.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift and move items and operate basic store equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
