Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to gain exposure to store tasks across services, product handling, and customer service. You will interact with customers, support service desks, and contribute to a welcoming store environment.

You will work in a fast-paced retail setting, performing duties in various departments and performing routine store upkeep to ensure a clean and efficient experience for shoppers.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
