Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to diverse retail tasks across our store, customer service, and additional services.

You will interact with customers and contribute to a friendly shopping environment, demonstrating what standout service looks like in daily store operations. As a Meijer Courtesy Team Member, you will be involved in cart management, trash collection, basic cleaning, and support across departments to ensure smooth store operations and customer

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Assist service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
