Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to support store operations as a cart attendant and front-line helper. You will shuttle carts, assist with parking lot upkeep and cleaning, and help customers across departments.

This role emphasizes reliable service, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting. You will interact with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth store flow, handle basic cleaning tasks, and participate in additional duties as needed, while developing retail skills

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Interface with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
