Job summary

Agua Caliente Casinos is seeking a Retail Associate to support gift shop and retail outlets across properties. You will help manage inventory, price merchandise, and provide exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities include processing purchases, entering data into the POS system, coordinating shipments, and assisting with promotions and displays. You must be able to stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and learn our retail software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D and 6 months to 1 year cashiering/guest services experience.
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn retail software quickly.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service to customers.
• Be familiar with the inventory and pricing processes.
• Perform monthly inventory, process purchase requisitions, and enter retail data.

DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYCoordinates activities of workers in department of retail stores by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)Provides excellent guest serviceBe familiar with the inventory.Responsible for monthly inventory, completing purchase requisitions, entering retail information into computer and applying prices.Records delivery of merchandise, compares records with merchandise ordered, and reports discrepancies to control costs and maintain correct inventory level.Inspects merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced.Recommends additions to or deletions of merchandise to be sold in department.Take orders over the phone and mail via UPS adding shipping charges to bill amount and charging credit cards appropriately.Coordinates sales promotions activities and prepares, or directs workers preparing, merchandise displays and advertising copy.GAMING EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIREDQualificationsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
