Job summary

Federal Realty Investment Trust is seeking a Project Manager, Construction and Tenant Services in California. The role coordinates landlord and tenant work, manages budgeting, scheduling, and the overall construction process for a portfolio of retail properties.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of tenant coordination and/or project/construction management experience.
• Experience with design and construction of retail properties.
• Experience with design and construction coordination and project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive landlord and tenant design, permitting and construction to achieve rent commencement dates.
• Coordinate information gathering for leasing to market tenant spaces.
• Oversee construction projects from conceptual estimating through closeout in a defined region.
• Coordinate with Federal Realty departments, consultants, tenants and 3rd party managers.
• Prepare conceptual estimates for lease budgeting and review construction exhibits.
• Review leases for milestone dates, penalties, and delivery terms.
• Review and approve landlord and tenant construction drawings for lease and budget alignment.
• Monitor insurance certificates and maintain Salesforce status reports.
• Manage budgets and timely delivery of Landlord's work on new leases.
