Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our Retail Design & Build team in Boston. You will lead end-to-end construction of new retail stores from design to opening, solving complex challenges with strong technical and business insight, while upholding brand standards and driving sales.

You will coordinate cross-functional partners, manage budgets and schedules, negotiate contracts, and champion prefabrication and cost-saving strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in construction project management (planning, budgeting, delivery).
• Experience in multi-project, large-scale construction (retail/infrastructure).
• Knowledge of civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of capital budget management and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction, commissioning, and turnover of a Retail Store.
• Manage project budget and cost changes; negotiate pricing.
• Oversee schedules and risks to ensure turnover dates.
• Handle warranty work in live environments as needed.
• Communicate status and risks to leadership.
• Negotiate vendor and contractor contracts and PO terms.
• Collaborate with GC and vendors to build partnerships.
• Coordinate needs with Procurement/Sourcing to support projects.
• Support pre-construction efforts and promote prefabrication strategies.
• Travel up to 50% to Meta Retail sites.
• Respond to emergencies as needed.
