Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a Retail & Concessions Manager for the Collegiate Dining team at Lake Superior State University in Sault Sainte Marie, MI. You will oversee culinary, safety and sanitation, and operations for the account, leading a large staff and ensuring top-tier service.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, and maintaining profitability while upholding safety standards and quality foodservice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• At least two years’ foodservice experience.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking process.
• Proven track record of financial responsibility.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated Retail & Concessions Manager to our Collegiate Dining team in Sault Sainte Marie, MI. As a Retail Manager, you will have the opportunity to assist with overseeing all culinary, safety and sanitation, and operations functions for the account.

What you'll be doing:

• Recruiting, training, and retaining a large staffing team, including cashiers, baristas, cooks, food service, concessions and catering workers.
• Ensuring that the operation delivers high quality food and friendly service.
• Ensuring that the business runs in a professional, efficient, and profitable manner.
• Demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills with all employees.
