Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Underwriter for lending and loan documentation in Bartlett, TN. The successful candidate will analyze financial statements, assess credit risk, and draft loan agreements while ensuring adherence to credit policy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include timely loan decisioning, coordinating with Retail staff, and maintaining compliance, with a focus on accuracy and professional service to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of similar or related underwriting experience.
• Bachelor's degree or industry certifications equivalent to a degree.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities in a banking environment.
• Knowledge of loan documentation, lien perfection, and lending regulations.

Responsibilities

• Timely loan decisioning within bank guidelines and recommended actions outside authority.
• Draft and proof loan documents and agreements; source documents from attorneys/Title companies.
• Spread and analyze financial statements; obtain credit bureau reports for applicants.
• Ensure files comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; maintain regulatory compliance.
• Process loan closing conditions accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain productive relationships with Business Banking staff and Market Managers; perform other duties as assigned.
