Job summary

Scheels is hiring for a sales associate in Wichita. You will greet customers, provide personalized service, and guide them through the sale, including promoting the Scheels Visa. Expect to meet sales goals while maintaining a high standard of merchandising and helping with inventory tasks.

Role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of sales experience. Flexible schedule includes evenings and weekends, with average ~20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and provide a welcoming experience.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and guide customers through the sale, promoting Scheels Visa.
• Achieve personal sales goals and maintain professional sales standards.
• Create a positive end-user experience based on the purchased products.
• Maintain visual merchandising and assist with freight processing and inventory restocking.
• Train new associates and participate in store meetings and product trainings.
• Operate a computer and handheld inventory scanner; use MS Office/Google Docs/AS400.
