Job summary

Talbots in Rochester, MN is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and build a loyal clientele. You will engage customers, maintain product knowledge, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment in a busy retail setting.

You will work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and use POS/iPad systems to process transactions while upholding Talbots’ brand standards and service expectations.

Qualifications

• Prospecting and establishing a strong clientele.

• Tech-savvy with POS/iPad/handheld systems.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift at least 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create hospitality culture through exceptional customer experiences.
• Support service enhancers to build relationships with Concierge.
• Achieve sales and service metrics.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer needs.
• Keep clientele informed on fashion trends and products.
• Lead or supervise others occasionally and assist with opening/closing the store.
• Represent the Talbots brand professionally.
