Job Description of Retail Clerk Lead:
The Thrift Store is a key component supporting our Clinical Day Treatment Program. The Retail Clerk Lead position is a responsible role assisting the store manager and overseeing all thrift store operations. The Retail Clerk Lead supervises daily activities, ensures policy compliance, and may assist in recruiting, training, discipline, performance evaluations, and supervising staff. Responsibilities include managing cashier funds, maintaining store appearance, assisting customers, resolving routine issues, training employees, supervising cashier activities, preparing sales reports, handling donations, pricing, stocking, and maintaining store records. Handles sensitive and confidential information. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON SATURDAY.
Minimum Qualifications of Retail Clerk Lead:
Physical Demands: Sitting, walking, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling (75-100% of work time), lifting up to 50 lbs., frequent walking, standing, kneeling, or squatting, with periods of sitting.
