Job summary

Michaels Stores in Lexington, KY is seeking a store associate dedicated to keeping the store clean and inviting while delivering friendly customer service. You will help customers shop, maintain the appearance of floors, fixtures, and common areas, and support safety and loss-prevention programs.

This role requires standing for long periods, some heavy lifting, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and place them back in correct placement.
• Deep clean key areas of the store to maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.
