Job summary

GPM Investments LLC in Charlottesville, VA seeks Sales Associates to keep the store welcoming, clean, and running smoothly for every customer. You’ll greet customers, operate the register, manage lottery/alcohol sales legally, and upsell when possible.

Responsibilities include maintaining store cleanliness, stocking, and cross-training in deli as needed. Flexible full-time or part-time hours with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Sell lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol in compliance with laws.
• Upsell customers to increase sales.
• Keep the store clean and safe inside and outside.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help where needed.
