Job summary

GPM Investments LLC is seeking Sales Associates to keep our store clean, safe, and welcoming while serving customers with efficiency at the register. You’ll handle transactions, assist in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales following age verification rules, and upsell when possible.

The role includes extensive cleaning duties and potential cross‑training in deli. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

Experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required.
Must read, write and speak English effectively.
Basic math proficiency for transactions and till accuracy.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed.
Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales — ensuring compliance with all age verification and legal requirements.
Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and safe, including deep cleaning restrooms, wiping pumps, and trash removal.
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh and full.
Maintain a clean and organized store — sweep, mop, windows, and entryways.
Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Be a team player and step in to help wherever needed.
