Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate to enhance the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking, cashiering and cleaning. The role is full-time with 30+ hours weekly, starting wage $18.00 per hour with annual increases through Year 5.

You will handle POS transactions, assist customers, and maintain merchandising standards across the store while supporting management in loss prevention and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service duties and cash handling.
• Ability to operate store equipment including POS and cleaning devices.
• Ability to interpret ALDI policies and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic proficiency.
• Willingness to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or with others.
• Ability to manage tasks and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt customer service and operate POS accurately.
• Inform management of damaged/outdated items to prevent loss.
• Follow cash policies and checkout procedures.
• Stock shelves per merchandising plan and improve sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain store standards and safety.
