Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Florida is hiring cashiers for a fast-paced environment where you will deliver friendly, accurate service to customers and help maintain clean facilities.

No experience? No problem—on-the-job training is provided as you learn cash handling, food safety practices, and multi-department duties across the store.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions.
• Balancing a cash register by completing transactions and promoting additional sales.
• Using technology to ensure proper food safety for fresh food and deli products.
• Cleaning working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps and completing trash runs.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, or leadership roles.
• Able to move and lift 25+ pounds; able to work in various temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
