Love's Travel Stops is hiring for a cashier position in Laurel, MT. You will provide fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers while balancing the cash register and supporting daily store operations.

No experience is required as Love's offers on-the-job training. The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with locating items and answering questions.
• Balance cash register and process transactions with accuracy and upsell when appropriate.
• Ensure proper food safety for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean and maintain the working area, sales floor, restrooms, and pumps; handle trash.
• Cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Maintenance, and potential leadership roles.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
