Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Joliet, IL is hiring friendly cashiers to provide fast, accurate service while maintaining a clean, welcoming store. You will assist customers, process transactions, and learn across departments in a fast-paced environment.

No experience? No problem—training is provided. Expect flexible scheduling, daily responsibilities including food safety duties, cleaning, and a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction at our family‑owned, growth‑oriented company.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
