Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring cashiers to work in a fast-paced setting, delivering friendly, accurate service while maintaining clean spaces. Training is provided if you have no prior experience, and teamwork is essential in this role.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, assisting customers, and ensuring food safety for deli items, with opportunities to cross-train in other departments and grow within the company.

• Balancing a cash register by completing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Cleanliness duties for your work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, pumps, and trash runs.
• Cross training in departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and potential leadership roles.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
