Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring cashiers to work in a fast-paced store. You will provide fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers, helping them find items and answering questions in a clean, safe environment. No experience?

No problem — we’ll teach you. This role may involve balancing the register, processing transactions, assisting at the deli, and maintaining cleanliness across the store and pumps, with opportunities to cross-train in other departments and lift 25+ pounds in varying

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by finding items, answering questions, and addressing needs.
• Balance cash register and process transactions, promoting add-on sales.
• Maintain food safety for deli products and keep the area clean and organized.
• Clean and restock your work area, restrooms, pumps, and surrounding areas.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed and adapt to business needs.
• Lifting 25+ pounds and working in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
