MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Cashier for our Sikeston Store - Brunt team. This hourly full-time role offers a starting rate of $15.50 per hour and a monthly bonus potential up to $250, along with comprehensive benefits.

The position emphasizes customer service, accuracy in cash handling, inventory upkeep, and maintaining a professional appearance in line with company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; no degree required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Organized and able to interact with a diverse workforce.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist on the sales floor, and answer the phone within three rings with a professional greeting.
• Operate the store cash register, handle cash and credit transactions, conduct refunds, and balance cash drawer.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain cleanliness of the store area to standard.
• Request assistance from managers for returns, exchanges, and customer complaints.
• Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.
