Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a friendly Retail Cashier to join our St Peters store. You will greet customers, handle sales on the cash register, process transactions, and keep shelves and checkout area organized and clean.

We offer an hourly pay of $15.50, a monthly bonus up to $250, and full-time benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, PTO, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter the store and assist on the sales floor.
• Operates the store cash register, handles cash and card transactions, and balances the drawer.
• Stocks, rotates, and maintains cleanliness of the store area efficiently and to standard.
• Request assistance for returns, exchanges, and customer complaints.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
