The role involves operating the cash register, assisting customers, and maintaining a safe, clean sales floor, with opportunities to contribute to merchandise recovery and efficient table turns. Strong communication and basic math are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; all educational backgrounds considered.
• Up to one month of related retail, cashiering, or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash-handling or POS/register experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding items and answering questions.
• Perform all cash register duties accurately and efficiently; count cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready retail floor; keep merchandise orderly on the blue sales tables.
• Monitor safety; report theft or policy violations to management.
• Follow all rules in the personnel handbook; promote the mission and assist with store operations.
