Responsibilities as a Retail Cashier/Customer Service Associate:

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them, and invite them back.
• Provide a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Suggest store specials to customers to promote sales.
• Ring up sales and merchandise, applying discounts and promotions while following all policies and laws regarding restricted sales, including alcohol and tobacco (must be of legal age).
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed.
• Clean food service areas and equipment, and stock as needed.
• Follow proper sanitation, food handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
• Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Flexible availability to support 24/7 operations, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude.
• Leadership qualities and integrity.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to change.
• Legal age to sell regulated products (alcohol, tobacco) and, in NV, to work around slot machines.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 65 pounds occasionally.
• Work in conditions that may include heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/chemicals from gasoline and cleaning products.
