Responsibilities as a Retail Cashier/Customer Service Associate:

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Suggest additional purchases to promote store specials.
• Ring up sales, apply discounts and promotions, and follow all policies and laws regarding restricted sales, including alcohol and tobacco (must be of legal age).
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed.
• Clean the fast-food area and equipment, and restock as necessary.
• Follow proper sanitation, food handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
• Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays correctly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Flexible availability to support a 24/7 operation, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude.
• Leadership by example and integrity.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to change.
• Legal age to sell regulated products (alcohol, tobacco); NV only - legal age for slot machines.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting; reaching; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, or crouching; talking and listening.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 65 pounds occasionally.
• Work safely in conditions including heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/chemicals from gasoline and cleaning agents.
