Retail Cashiers greet customers with a smile and ensure they receive top-notch service on every visit. You will operate a register primarily, but also engage in cleaning, stocking shelves, receiving deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities of a Retail Cashier/Customer Service Associate:

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Suggest additional purchases to promote store specials.
• Ring up sales and merchandise, applying discounts/promotions, and following all policies and laws regarding restricted sales, including alcohol and tobacco (must be the legal age).
• Maintain store cleanliness inside and outside.
• Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed.
• Clean food service areas and equipment, and stock supplies.
• Follow proper sanitation, food handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
• Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist; reach; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk and listen.
• Frequently lift/move up to 20 pounds; occasionally up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in conditions with heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/chemicals from gasoline and cleaning products.
